UNIVERSAL STRANDZ specialises in designing bespoke 100% Cuticle Aligned Remy hair lace frontals, crown and T- closures.
The Remy hair is tied individually on to the French lace, Swiss lace or lace injected PU thin skin (polyurethane) base and silk base, which creates the illusion of hair growing directly from the scalp.
Frontals are designed to be reusable and can last a long time if cared for correctly and an economical option when used in conjunction with weaves wig construction or bonding hair techniques to incorporate your styles; and are an ideal option for those undergoing chemotherapy, hair loss due to medical conditions or illness such as lupus, trichotillomania or alopecia.
What is a Lace Frontal Unit?
A lace frontal or PU Frontal (polyurethane) thin skin is similar to the front part of the lace wig, which creates the appearance of a natural hairline and can be incorporated with the use of weaves, hair extensions and replacement systems, or to repair your current lace wig or just to add to your natural hair style.

Full lace Wigs are made with a full cap made from net, lace or monofilament
Hair is attached individually onto the lace cap giving the appearance of hair growing naturally from the scalp. It is completely undetectable. The hair that is attached individually can be bleached creating an invisible appearance to the knots and helps create the appearance of hair growing from the scalp.
Full lace wigs will have lace around the entire head which will have excess lace in the front and back.
A hair line is then created by cutting around the entire circumference of the lace; allowing you to wear your hair anyway you like! Pony-tail's, up-do's, beehive, straight, curly or freestyle.
Adhesive or tape is applied around the hairline and the lace disappears - your secret is safe!
Once the wig is attached you will be wearing a Full Lace Wig, which will allow you to swim, shower and exercise. You will love it!
